La 11e édition du Golf & Gourmet Trophy s’est tenue du 6 au 16 mars 2026 à Île Maurice, confirmant l’ancrage de cet événement dans le calendrier des séjours golfiques internationaux. Imaginé comme une expérience mêlant compétition sportive et découvertes culinaires, le rendez-vous a réuni cette année encore des participants venus profiter d’un programme combinant parcours d’exception, hôtellerie haut de gamme et gastronomie.
Coorganisé par l’agence SWING, spécialisée dans le conseil et l’organisation d’événements golfiques, et le groupe Sunlife, le trophée s’est déroulé sous le parrainage du chef Christophe Chabanel.

Les participants ont été accueillis dans deux établissements 5 étoiles, Long Beach et Sugar Beach, servant de base à un programme rythmé par quatre tours de compétition disputés en double.

- Anahita Golf Club
- Tamarina Golf Club
Les formats de jeu ont varié au fil des journées, incluant notamment shamble, scramble et 4 balles meilleure balle, offrant une diversité technique appréciée des participants.
Une dimension gastronomique affirmée
Au-delà du sport, l’événement a également mis l’accent sur la gastronomie, avec une programmation culinaire intégrée tout au long du séjour. Parmi les temps forts : une démonstration de cuisine suivie d’un dîner gastronomique orchestré par Christophe Chabanel et les équipes culinaires du Long Beach, un déjeuner barbecue sur la plage de l’Île aux Cerfs, ainsi qu’un dîner de gala au Sugar Beach.

Au terme des quatre tours, le classement général a distingué :
- En net : l’équipe composée de Mireille Le Thuc et Marcus Lubken, avec un total de 167 points stableford (-23).
- En brut : l’équipe formée par Christophe Chabanel et Maryline Le Metayer, avec 107 points stableford (+40).

The 11th edition of the Golf & Gourmet Trophy took place from March 6 to 16, 2026 in Mauritius, reaffirming its position as a distinctive event on the international golf travel calendar. Designed as an immersive experience combining competition, fine dining and conviviality, the event once again attracted participants seeking both performance and lifestyle.
Co-organised by SWING, a specialist in golf event management, and Sunlife, the event was held under the patronage of Chef Christophe Chabanel.
Prestigious courses and luxury hospitality
Participants stayed at two five-star resorts, Long Beach and Sugar Beach, while competing across four rounds played in pairs.

- Île aux Cerfs Golf Club
- Anahita Golf Club
- Tamarina Golf Club
Different formats—including shamble, scramble and four-ball better ball—added variety and technical challenge throughout the competition.

Beyond golf, gastronomy played a central role throughout the experience. Highlights included a live cooking demonstration followed by a gourmet dinner led by Chef Christophe Chabanel and the Long Beach culinary team, a beach barbecue lunch at Île aux Cerfs, and a gala dinner hosted at Sugar Beach.
