Le rideau est tombé sur les Influencer Awards Mauritius 2023 lors d’une soirée de clôture mémorable qui s’est déroulée le 2 septembre au Royal Green de Réduit. C’est Sheryl Smith, un visage bien connu de la scène numérique, qui a décroché le titre convoité du Meilleur Influenceur de l’année.
Que ce soit dans ses apparitions marquantes dans les vidéos Pop TV ou en duo avec son fidèle compagnon Vincent Duvergé, Sheryl Smith a su, au fil des années, captiver l’attention du public grâce à son humour contagieux. Bien qu’elle ait également été nominée dans la catégorie Artiste et Divertissement, c’est finalement en tant que meilleure influenceuse qu’elle a été couronnée en 2023 avec à la clé un chèque de Rs 100 000 et la responsabilité de représenter la communauté des influenceurs aux prochains World Influencers And Bloggers Awards tout comme sa prédécesseur Neeshi Beehary.

L’événement n’a pas manqué de récompenser d’autres influenceurs talentueux. Ashwina Thakooree Taujoo, connu sous le pseudonyme de @hola_its_ash, a remporté la catégorie Artiste et Divertissement. Meli Pierre (@melipierre) a été couronné Créateur de Contenu, Anne Sophie Catherine (@sophioux1) a triomphé dans la catégorie Mode et Beauté, tandis que Kairav Kirtne (@clubgtmur) a remporté la nouvelle catégorie Automobile. Dans la catégorie Fitness et Bien-être, c’est Fabrice Lotoah (@fabricelotoah) qui s’est distingué. Sans grande surprise, Carleen Chan (@carleen_chan.y) a remporté la catégorie Food, tandis que Sabrina Dulloo (@sabrina_dulloo) a raflé le prix dans la catégorie Voyage et Lifestyle. Tamyln, alias @wayfarerlady, a été saluée comme la plus créative par le jury, tandis que le titre d’influenceur le plus prometteur a été attribué à Deven Sanassee (@goutermoris).
Catherine Capdor, à la tête de l'équipe organisatrice, a quant à elle qualifié cette aventure de mémorable, soulignant que chaque nominé peut être considéré comme un gagnant à sa manière. Elle a exprimé sa fierté envers la qualité des influenceurs mauriciens et a souligné que cette quatrième édition témoigne de l'évolution constante de l'influence en ligne.
« Ils représentent l’île Maurice et les marques avec leur contenu, et ils méritent sans aucun doute cette attention. Ils sont un peu les commerciaux d’aujourd’hui. Après tout le travail acharné pour en arriver là, nous sommes ravis d’avoir atteint cette quatrième édition et nous remercions nos précieux sponsors. Nous espérons avoir l’occasion de continuer cette belle aventure », a-t-elle déclaré avec enthousiasme.
La soirée a également été rythmée par des performances artistiques spectaculaires dont celles de Jeremy Pavillon (@jpavillon), chanteur local à la voix transcendante, la sublime violoniste Elis Santana (@elissantana_violin) et des troupes de danseurs talentueux. En fin de compte, Les Influencer Awards Mauritius 2023 ont été cette fois-ci un témoignage de la force croissante de la communauté des influenceurs à l’île Maurice, mettant en lumière leur talent et leur créativité.

The curtain came down on the Influencer Awards Mauritius 2023 at a memorable closing evening held on 2 September at Royal Green in Réduit. Sheryl Smith, a well-known face on the digital scene, took home the coveted title of Best Influencer of the Year.

Catherine Capdor, head of the organising team, described it as a memorable adventure, stressing that each nominee could be considered a winner in their own way. She expressed her pride in the quality of Mauritian influencers and pointed out that this fourth edition bears witness to the constant evolution of online influence.

The evening was also punctuated by spectacular artistic performances from Jeremy Pavillon (@jpavillon), a local singer with a transcendent voice, the sublime violinist Elis Santana (@elissantana_violin) and troupes of talented dancers. All in all, the Influencer Awards Mauritius 2023 were this time a testament to the growing strength of the influencer community in Mauritius, highlighting their talent and creativity.
