Après le Top Sustainable Excellence Award 2024 pour Sunlife et le prix du Best Sustainable Hotel 2024 pour Long Beach lors des Sustainable Tourism Mauritius Awards 2024 en mai dernier, Sunlife a reçu mercredi 18 septembre le PwC Sustainability Awards 2024 dans la catégorie « Hospitality and Tourism » lors d’une soirée organisée par la PwC au House of Digital Art à Port-Louis. En outre, Long Beach a également remporté le Environmental Award 2024.Les PwC Sustainability Awards 2024 décerne pour la deuxième année consécutive des trophées dans sept catégories aux entreprises ayant des parcours significatifs dans le secteur du développement .
Dans un communiqué, le groupe hôtelier rappelle que tous les resorts de Sunlife fonctionnent de manière durable et responsable, incarnant la vision de Sunlife : « nous voyons un monde où brille la bienveillance ». Cela consiste en effet à montrer cette même bienveillance envers la terre, les ressources et les gens.
Selon Ali Abdool, Head of Sustainability chez Sunlife « Nous sommes honorés d’être reconnus comme lauréat du secteur de l’Hôtellerie et du Tourisme lors des PwC Sustainability Awards 2024. Cette distinction, ainsi que les awards décernés par le Ministère du Tourisme en début d’année, reflète le travail acharné et l’engagement de toute notre équipe en matière de développement durable. Cette nouvelle récompense renforce notre détermination à créer un impact positif pour la planète.

Sustainability: Sunlife wins new award at the PwC Sustainability Awards 2024 ent
After receiving the Top Sustainable Excellence Award 2024 for Sunlife and the Best Sustainable Hotel 2024 award for Long Beach at the Sustainable Tourism Mauritius Awards 2024 in May, Sunlife received the PwC Sustainability Awards 2024 in the category “Hospitality and Tourism” at an evening organized by PwC at the House of Digital Art in Port-Louis. Long Beach also won the Environmental Award 2024. PwC Sustainability Awards 2024 is awarding for the second year in a row in seven categories to companies with significant development achievements.
In a statement, the hotel group said that all Sunlife resorts operate sustainably and responsibly, embodying Sunlife’s vision: “We see a world where kindness shines”. It is about showing the same kind of kindness to the land, resources and people.
