Célébrer un événement en bord de mer avec le service et l’offre d’un hôtel cinq-étoile mais dans un cadre exclusif et privé n’est pas facile à trouver sur la côte est. C’est désormais possible avec Orizon. Situé au nord de l’immense domaine du Long Beach Resort dans l’espace autrefois occupé par le Boat House de l’ancien hôtel Coco Beach, Orizon est tout simplement le lieu idéal pour organiser un anniversaire, un mariage, des fiançailles, un événement corporatif ou tout simplement un dîner ou un déjeuner en famille ou en ami.
Le nom de cet espace semble avoir été bien choisi car il explore le champ des possibles. S’ouvrant sur l’océan Indien, Orizon offre en journée une vue spectaculaire sur la baie aux reflets turquoise. A la tombée du jour, c’est le ciel se pare de nuances orangées qui donne au coucher de soleil une ambiance très douce propice à l’intimité de la fête.
Les organisateurs d’événements et les DMC ont découvrir ce petit joyau lors d’une belle soirée d’ouverture le samedi 29 juin à l’invitation de Shirley Fareedun-Wick, la responsable des ventes de Long Beach. Plus d’une centaine d’invités ont ainsi pu vivre en avant-première une belle expérience inoubliable. Accueillis au rythme du séga, ils ont pu goûter aux belles créations des mixologistes présents en observant le coucher du soleil avant de déguster aux plats suavs préparés par la brigade du Long Beach.
« Nous avons réhabilité cet espace extraordinaire et rénové le restaurant existant pour offrir un lieu magnifique qui tout en étant loin de l’hôtel offre un service de restauration équivalent. Ce qui permet de passer un moment festif sans déranger les clients de l’hôtel », a expliqué Christian Jacquier, General Manager du Long Beach. Il faut dire que Orizon offre également une piste de danse et une scène ou peuvent se produire des artistes. Il peut accueillir jusqu’à 300 personnes. Une grande marquise offre aussi la possibilité de dîner pieds dans le sable. Tout pour plaire quoi !

Orizon, an exclusive space at Long Beach resort for your events
Celebrating an event by the sea with the service and offering of a five-star hotel in an exclusive and private setting is not easy to find on the East coast. Now it’s possible with Orizon. Located to the north of the huge Long Beach Resort estate in the space formerly occupied by the Boat House of the former Coco Beach Hotel, Orizon is quite simply the ideal place to hold an anniversary, wedding, engagement, corporate event or simply a dinner or lunch with family or friends.
The name of this space seems to have been well chosen because it explores the field of possibilities. Overlooking the Indian Ocean, Orizon offers spectacular views of the turquoise bay during the day. At dusk, the sky is adorned in shades of orange, giving the sunset a very soft atmosphere conducive to the intimacy of the party.
Event organisers, DMCs and a select group of guests were invited by Shirley Fareedun-Wick, Long Beach’s Head of Sales, to discover this little jewel on Saturday 29 June, at the invitation of Shirley Fareedun-Wick. Over a hundred guests enjoyed a preview of an unforgettable experience. Welcomed to the rhythm of the sega, they could sample the fine creations of the mixologists on hand as they watched the sunset, before sampling the suave dishes prepared by the Long Beach brigade.
« We have restored this extraordinary space and renovated the existing restaurant to provide a magnificent venue that, while being far from the hotel, offers an equivalent catering service. So you can enjoy a festive moment without disturbing the hotel guests », explained Christian Jacquier, General Manager of the Long Beach.
