Le groupe hôtelier mauricien New Mauritius Hotels Ltd (NMH), propriétaire de la marque Beachcomber, annonce la deuxième phase du Royal Palm Marrakech. Ce développement majeur, inscrit dans la convention-cadre d’investissement signée en 2006 avec le gouvernement marocain, voit son budget initial de 285 millions de dirhams (≈ Rs 1,455 milliard) réévalué à plus de 600 millions de dirhams (≈ Rs 3,021 milliards), écrit le journal marocain, Le Matin.
Un nouvel hôtel de 300 chambres dans un cadre d’exception
Au cœur de ce projet, NMH prévoit la construction d’un nouvel hôtel de luxe de 300 clés, venant enrichir l’offre haut de gamme de la destination Marrakech.
Pour mener à bien cette réalisation, NOM s’associe à Ynexis Group, acteur reconnu de l’investissement hôtelier, et à Domaine Palm Marrakech (DPM), filiale de Semaris Ltd. Ensemble, ils créent Apexia Beachcomber Properties, un Organisme de placement collectif en immobilier (OPCI) qui détiendra les murs de l’hôtel actuel et du futur établissement.
L’exploitation des deux hôtels restera assurée par Beachcomber, tandis que la gestion opérationnelle sera confiée à Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, référence mondiale de l’hôtellerie de prestige.
Extension du programme résidentiel : 85 villas de luxe
En parallèle, Domaine Palm Marrakech prévoit le lancement d’une nouvelle tranche de 85 villas haut de gamme, après la commercialisation complète des 150 unités de la première phase.
Ce développement est piloté par Semaris Ltd, société mauricienne cotée sur le Development & Enterprise Market de la Bourse de Maurice, spécialisée dans les projets résidentiels exclusifs respectant les plus hauts standards architecturaux et paysagers.

Avec cet investissement massif, New Mauritius Hotels confirme sa volonté de renforcer sa présence sur le marché hôtelier de luxe au Maroc. The Mauritian hotel group New Mauritius Hotels Ltd (NMH), owner of the Beachcomber brand, announces the second phase of the Royal Palm Marrakech. This significant development, which is part of the framework investment agreement signed with the Moroccan government in 2006, has seen its initial budget of 285 million dirhams (approximately Rs 1.455 billion) revised to over 600 million dirhams (approximately Rs 3.021 billion), as reported by the Moroccan newspaper Le Matin.
A new 300-room hotel in an exceptional setting
At the heart of this project, NMH plans to build a new 300-room luxury hotel, further enhancing the high-end offering of the Marrakech destination.
To carry out this project, NMH is partnering with Ynexis Group, a recognised player in hotel investment, and Domaine Palm Marrakech (DPM), a subsidiary of Semaris Ltd. Together, they are creating Apexia Beachcomber Properties, a real estate investment trust (OPCI) that will own the current hotel and the future establishment.
Beachcomber will continue to operate both hotels, while Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, a global leader in luxury hospitality, will be responsible for operational management.
Expansion of the residential programme: 85 luxury villas
At the same time, Domaine Palm Marrakech plans to launch a new phase of 85 high-end villas, following the complete sale of the 150 units in the first phase.
This development is being led by Semaris Ltd, a Mauritian company listed on the Development & Enterprise Market of the Mauritius Stock Exchange, which specialises in exclusive residential projects that meet the highest architectural and landscaping standards.
