En dépit de la situation économique difficile en raison de la pandémie, LUX* Belle Mare a maintenu cette année encore son soutien à la Thalassemia Society of Mauritius, ONG qu’il accompagne depuis plusieurs années. Un chèque a ainsi été remis à l’organisation afin de venir en aide aux patients atteints de thalassémie et d’autres troubles hématologiques génétiques.
« Contribuer au bien-être de ses clients comme de la communauté fait partie de l’ADN de The Lux Collective. C’est dans cette optique que nous avons créé des expériences uniques et inédites, à travers les ‘collectable moments’ pour les personnes qui viennent dans nos hôtels. Nous souhaitons, cependant, avoir un impact positif sur la communauté également. Bien que l’industrie passe par des moments difficiles, nous avons souhaité réitérer notre soutien aux ONG que nous accompagnons depuis plusieurs années. LUX* Belle Mare continues its support to the Thalassemia Society
Despite the difficult economic situation due to the pandemic, LUX* Belle Mare has continued its support to the Thalassemia Society of Mauritius, an NGO it has been accompanying for several years. A cheque was presented to the organisation to help patients suffering from thalassemia and other genetic haematological disorders.
« Contributing to the well-being of our customers and the community is part of The Lux Collective’s DNA. With this in mind, we have created unique and novel experiences through ‘collectable moments’ for people who come to our hotels. However, we want to have a positive impact on the community as well. Although the industry is going through difficult times, we wanted to reiterate our support for the NGOs we have been working with for many years. We need to continue to pull together to ensure an inclusive economic recovery to maintain the viability of the NGOs who are doing such great work on the ground with the less fortunate in society, » said Ashish Modak, Regional General Manager of LUX* Belle Mare, LUX* Grand Gaube and LUX* Grand Bay.
