The Nautil group relocates to Sunlife hotels for a week
It’s a rare event in the world of travel and even business. From 12 to 17 May 2025, the Nautil group, the leading independent online premium and made-to-measure travel company, took all its 90 employees from the various agencies in France to Mauritius for ‘a trip to get closer, rediscover each other and move forward together’, according to CEO Pierre Cosentino. During the trip, Nautil relocated its call centre to Mauritius, enabling its advisers to be more responsive and efficient. While staying at the Sugar Beach and La Pirogue hotels, they were able to take advantage of several facilities suited to working remotely: comfortable workspaces, high-speed Internet connection, equipped rooms, and available technical assistance.
This relocation, combining work and holidays, was also a team-building initiative and an emotional moment, marking the start of a new phase for the company, uniting its three brands under a single dynamic: Mauritius Travel, Oovatu and Tropicalement Vôtre, following its acquisition last September. Nautil continues to expand and is actively seeking talent for its offices in Paris, Lyon, Lille and Bordeaux, as well as for its future branches in Angers and Marseille.
During their stay, the 90 employees of Nautil had the opportunity to explore the new range of iconic experiences from the Come Alive collection and to visit all the Sunlife hotels in Mauritius. The gala evening, held on Friday, May 16, at Sugar Beach, was attended by several VIPs, including Avinash Teelock, the new Director of the MTPA; Claire Le Laye, the Chairwoman of the Board; and Sydney Pierre, the Minister of Tourism.
Joelle Edwards-Tonks, Sunlife‘s Chief Commercial and Operations Officer, stated, « We are extremely honored and pleased to welcome the entire Nautil team to Sunlife Hotels, as Nautil has been a long-standing partner. We sincerely thank you for the trust you have placed in us and for your unwavering support. A special thank you also goes to all the Sunlife teams, whose commitment and hospitality have played a significant role in making this stay a pleasant and unforgettable experience. »
At the request of Pierre Cosentino, Yann Lloret, the Director of Sunlife for France, was able to mobilize teams in record time to welcome the group’s 90 employees to the La Pirogue and Sugar Beach hotels. « We have a long-standing relationship of trust with Nautil, whose teams we previously hosted for the group’s 20th anniversary. We are honored that they have once again chosen Sunlife for this very special event, » says Yann Lloret. « This stay in Mauritius is about more than just accommodation; we aim to provide them with a memorable experience, enriched with new activities to further strengthen the bonds between our employees. »
