Après le succès de la première édition, remportée par Junior Louis Franco Georgin plus connu comme Big Frankii, les Influencers Awards Mauritius sont de retour. Les inscriptions ont été ouvertes le samedi 15 mai et ce jusqu’au 30 juin. Cette année encore les organisateurs s’attendent à un bel engouement car dix jours après plus d’une trentaine d’applications avaient déjà été reçus augurant un nouveau triomphe pour la finale prévue le 9 octobre de cette année.
Comme en 2020, l’équipe organisatrice est composée d’Ally Royals, Ashley Rambhojun – tous deux influenceurs, Bobby Ramasawmy, Kelly Cheong et la cheville ouvrière de projet novateur, Catherine Capdor. Le jury cette année comprend des personnalités très connues du monde des réseaux sociaux notamment Mansoorah Issany, Jean Maurice Valery, Katia Moonchooram, James Agathe et David Jay. Ce sont eux qui annonceront el 9 juillet prochain les nominés, toujours 3 par catégorie.
Pour cette deuxième édition, les catégories ont été revues au nombre de huit : Artists, Beauty, Entertainment, Fashion, Fitness & Wellness, Food, Philanthropy, Travel & Lifestyle.
Une fois les nominés connus, ceux-ci seront pris en charge par le comité organisateur qui les accompagnera dans une série d’activités qui les mettra en avant ainsi que l’île Maurice et les partenaires de l’événement qui ont renouvelé leur soutien cette année encore malgré la conjoncture actuelle, souligne Catherine Capdor.
Influencers Awards: here we go for the second edition
After the success of the first edition, the Influencers Awards Mauritius are back. Registrations opened on Saturday 15 May and will run until 30 June. This year again, the organisers are expecting a great response, since ten days after the first edition, more than thirty applications had already been received, auguring a new triumph for the final scheduled for 9 October this year.
As in 2020, the organising team is made up of Ally Royals, Ashley Rambhojun – both influencers, Bobby Ramasawmy, Kelly Cheong, and innovative project leader Catherine Capdor. This year’s jury includes some of the best-known personalities in the world of social networking, including Mansoorah Issany, Jean Maurice Valery, Katia Moonchooram, James Agathe, and David Jay. They will announce the nominees on 9 July, still 3 per category.
For this second edition, the categories have been revised to eight: Artists, Beauty, Entertainment, Fashion, Fitness & Wellness, Food, Philanthropy, Travel & Lifestyle.
Once the nominees are known, they will be taken care of by the organising committee, which will accompany them in a series of activities that will put them in the spotlight, as well as Mauritius and the event’s partners, who have renewed their support again this year, despite the current economic situation, » emphasises Catherine Capdor.
