Dès le 1er octobre, la compagnie turque, Turkish Airlines, assurera un vol quotidien vers l’île Maurice jusqu’au 31 janvier 2023 au départ d’Istanbul. En augmentant sa capacité, Turkish Airlines qui dessert plus de 300 destinations à travers le monde, se positionne comme un des acteurs majeurs afin de promouvoir la destination touristique de l’île Maurice.
Cette augmentation a été prise en considération afin de satisfaire la forte demande de voyages vers l’île Maurice, explique la compagnie turque dans un communiqué. Turkish Airlines déclare que cela découle des efforts conjoints avec la MTPA (Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority) pour promouvoir la destination auprès de la clientèle turque et ajoute qu’elle « continuera à travailler de consort afin de renforcer l’image de la destination ». Avec un vol quotidien, Turkish Airlines permettra à tous ses clients d’Europe, d’Europe de l’Est, d’Amérique, du Moyen-Orient et de l’Asie de se rendre plus facilement vers l’île Maurice.
Les deux vols supplémentaires seront opérés les vendredis et dimanches vers l’île Maurice, comme suit :
Pour le mois d’Octobre 2022 :
– Le vol TK 176 décollera d’Istanbul à 01:50 et arrivera à Maurice à 12:35.
– Le vol TK 177 quittera Maurice à 20:05 pour atterrir à Istanbul à 05:00.

Turkish Airlines a démarré ses opérations vers l’Île Maurice en décembre 2015, avec trois vols hebdomadaires. La compagnie a transporté 7,8 millions de passagers de janvier à juillet 2022, soit 10 % de plus qu’en juillet 2019.
Turkish Airlines to operate a daily flight to Mauritius from 1st October
As of October 1st, Turkish Airlines will operate a daily flight to Mauritius from Istanbul until January 31st 2023. By increasing its capacity, Turkish Airlines, which serves more than 300 destinations worldwide, is positioning itself as one of the major players to promote the tourist destination of Mauritius.
This increase has been taken into consideration to meet the high demand for travel to Mauritius, the Turkish airline said in a statement. Turkish Airlines says this is a result of joint efforts with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) to promote the destination to Turkish customers and adds that it will « continue to work together to enhance the image of the destination ». With one daily flight, Turkish Airlines will make it easier for all its customers from Europe, Eastern Europe, America, the Middle East and Asia to travel to Mauritius.
The two additional flights will be operated on Fridays and Sundays to Mauritius as follows:
For the month of October 2022:
– Flight TK 176 will depart from Istanbul at 01:50 and arrive in Mauritius at 12:35.
– Flight TK 177 will leave Mauritius at 20:05 and land in Istanbul at 05:00.

– Flight TK 177 will leave Mauritius at 20:55 and land in Istanbul at 06:00.

Turkish Airlines started operations in Mauritius in December 2015 with three weekly flights. The airline carried 7.8 million passengers from January to July 2022, up 10% from July 2019.
