L’Institut Escoffier a accueilli deux événements majeurs pour marquer le lancement du campus mauricien de la Paris School of Technology and Business (PST&B), première grande école hybride Tech & Business de France, membre du groupe Galileo Global Education.
Un lancement officiel tourné vers l’excellence
Le 23 juin, une conférence de presse a officialisé l’ouverture du PST&B Mauritius Campus en présence du Dr Armand Derhy, Fondateur de PST&B, du Dr Jérôme Fabre et de Mme Tiina Fabre de l’Institut Escoffier. Récompensée par le Grand Prix de l’Innovation Pédagogique Eduniversal, PST&B se distingue par ses formations innovantes en data science, cybersécurité, IA, mais aussi en digital marketing, fintech ou blockchain.
L’IA et les RH : une table ronde stratégique
Pour Tiina Fabre, ce partenariat repose sur une vision partagée de l’excellence, de l’agilité et d’une formation ancrée dans la réalité des métiers hybrides. Les programmes proposés à Maurice, en présentiel ou en ligne, visent à former les futurs leaders technologiques de la région, tout en accompagnant les professionnels par des certifications continues et des bootcamps ciblés.
Le 26 juin, l’Institut Escoffier a organisé, avec PST&B, une table ronde sur l’impact de l’intelligence artificielle dans les ressources humaines, en présence du Ministre de la Technologie, de la Communication et de l’Innovation, le Dr Avinash Ramtohul.
Face à des enjeux majeurs de recrutement et de fidélisation, les experts ont souligné les transformations induites par l’IA : automatisation, personnalisation des parcours, nouveaux métiers hybrides, etc. Pour Dr Derhy, l’IA est une composante structurelle du futur des RH, mais elle doit rester au service de l’humain. Me Nicolas Richard a insisté sur la nécessité d’un cadre juridique clair, rappelant les limites légales à Maurice, notamment en matière de recrutement automatisé.
Enfin, le Dr Jérôme Fabre a évoqué une « culture de la virtualité réelle », où les frontières entre travail et vie privée deviennent floues. Stéphane Flauger a alerté sur les enjeux de sécurité et la nécessité d’intégrer la cybersécurité dès la conception des outils IA.

On Monday, June 23, a press conference at the Escoffier Institute marked the opening of the new campus in the presence of Dr. Armand Derhy, founder and director of PST&B, Dr. Jérôme Fabre, founder of the Escoffier Institute, and Mrs. Tiina Fabre, general manager.
PST&B, winner of the Eduniversal Grand Prize for Pedagogical Innovation, offers cutting-edge programs in data science, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, fintech, and blockchain. The Mauritius Campus aims to deliver high-level academic training while adapting to the needs of the regional market.
According to Tiina Fabre, the partnership is built on shared values: academic excellence, innovation, and agility. On Thursday, June 26, PST&B and the Escoffier Institute organized a high-level roundtable on “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on HR roles”, attended by Dr. Avinash Ramtohul, Minister of Technology, Communication and Innovation.
Experts and business leaders discussed the transformative power of AI in recruiting, talent retention, and workforce management. They emphasized the need for responsible AI, governed by strong ethical and legal frameworks. Lawyer Nicolas Richard reminded attendees of the importance of transparency and compliance with laws like the Mauritian Data Protection Act, which prohibits fully automated hiring decisions.
Dr. Jérôme Fabre spoke of a “real virtuality” culture that blurs the boundaries between work and leisure, while cybersecurity expert Stéphane Flauger stressed the need to embed safety and human oversight into all AI systems.
