La cuvée 2024 aura été particulièrement bonne à l’Institut Escoffier, un établissement d’enseignement spécialisé aux métiers du Luxe, accrédité par la Mauritius Qualifications Authority (M.Q.A) et la Higher Education Commission (H.E.C). En effet, pas moins de 150 étudiants ont reçu leurs diplômes, mardi 29 avril, sanctionnant des années d’efforts marquées par les incertitudes et les défis, liés notamment à la période pandémique. C’est avec beaucoup de fierté qu’ils ont reçu le fruit de leur sacrifice à l’auditorium du Mahatma Gandhi Institute devant leurs proches, leurs formateurs et leurs mentors, mais aussi le ministre du Tourisme, Richard Duval, l’ambassadeur de l’Union Européenne, Oskar Benedikt, et Christophe Plantier, directeur général du Constance Prince Maurice.
« Ce que vous avez accompli est admirable. Votre parcours incarne les valeurs que ce secteur exige plus que jamais : adaptabilité, exigence et humanité », a déclaré le ministre du Tourisme. Parmi les diplômés ceux ayant eu les meilleures performances académiques ont été célébrés alors que les étudiants ayant montré une attitude et une résilience exemplaires ont reçu les Étoiles Escoffier.
« À force de vouloir œuvrer, l’artiste devient l’œuvre. Aujourd’hui, vous êtes devenus l’œuvre. Vous avez démontré que tout le monde est intelligent et que le succès est au rendez-vous quand le cœur est à l’ouvrage. Si le travail sur soi devient la pierre angulaire sur laquelle s’appuie tout processus de transformation, la réussite n’est pas un long fleuve tranquille », a commenté le Dr Jérôme Fabre, fondateur et directeur général de l’Institut Escoffier.

The 2024 vintage was a perfect one for the Institut Escoffier, an educational establishment specialising in luxury goods, accredited by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (M.Q.A) and the Higher Education Commission (H.E.C). On Tuesday 29 April, no fewer than 150 students received their diplomas, culminating years of hard work marked by uncertainties and challenges, particularly during the pandemic. It was with great pride that they received the fruits of their sacrifice in the auditorium of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute in front of their families, teachers and mentors, as well as the Minister for Tourism, Richard Duval, the Ambassador of the European Union, Oskar Benedikt, and Christophe Plantier, Managing Director of Constance Prince Maurice.
‘What you have achieved is admirable. Your career embodies the values that this sector demands more than ever: adaptability, high standards and humanity’, said the Minister of Tourism. Among the graduates, those with the highest academic performances were celebrated, while students who exhibited exemplary attitude and resilience received the Escoffier Stars.
‘By dint of wanting to work, the artist becomes the work. Today, you have become the work. You’ve shown that everyone is intelligent and that success comes when the heart is in the work. If working on yourself becomes the cornerstone on which any transformation process is based, success is not a long, quiet river’, commented Dr Jérôme Fabre, founder and CEO of the Institut Escoffier.
