Le groupe hôtelier Sunlife vient d’annoncer plusieurs promotions internes, illustrant son engagement à valoriser et à développer les talents au sein de l’entreprise, tout en consolidant sa présence commerciale dans le secteur de l’hospitalité. Ces nominatons visent à renforcer ses équipes Marketing, Ventes et Supply Chain.
Depuis le 1er janvier 2025, Joelle Edwards-Tonks occupe le poste de Chief Commercial and Operations Officer. Joelle a joué un rôle clé dans la transformation de Sunlife, notamment grâce au succès du rebranding en 2022. Selon le CEO François Eynaud : « Nous sommes fiers des réalisations de Joelle à ce jour. Son leadership a largement contribué à la croissance de notre chiffre d’affaires et au succès global de Sunlife. À travers ses nouvelles responsabilités, elle apportera une orientation stratégique aux équipes commerciales et opérationnelles, avec pour objectifs d’enrichir davantage l’expérience client ainsi que l’excellence opérationnelle ».
En plus de superviser les fonctions commerciales, incluant les ventes, le marketing et le « revenue management », Joelle assumera désormais des responsabilités élargies couvrant les opérations hôtelières. Son approche stratégique visera à créer des synergies optimales entre les marchés et les opérations hôtelières, afin de maximiser les performances et offrir une valeur ajoutée aux hôtes des resorts Sunlife.
Avec 13 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’hôtellerie et du voyage, Rameswarsingh Jeenarain (Ramesh) accède au poste de Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Après avoir dirigé World Leisure Holidays en Afrique du Sud, puis assuré la gestion des ventes et du Central Reservations Office (CRO) à Maurice, Ramesh s’est distingué par des résultats remarquables.
Dans son nouveau rôle, Ramesh supervisera les ventes mondiales et le marketing, incluant les initiatives digitales tout en gardant la direction de World Leisure Holidays. Son expertise et son engagement continu seront des atouts majeurs pour poursuivre la croissance de Sunlife
Cindy Leung est promue Chief Retail and Supply Chain Officer. Son leadership a été déterminant pour le succès des fonctions retail et supply chain. Elle étend désormais ses responsabilités à la gestion des opérations spa, en ligne avec la stratégie de développement des activités retail de Sunlife. Cindy sera responsable du déploiement du nouveau concept GLOW by Sunlife, en collaboration avec Reshma Dookheea, Cluster Spa Manager.
De son côté, Kevin Ho-Pive prend les rênes du bureau des ventes en tant que Group Head of Sales alors que Prisca Nairn, Head of Marketing & Guest Experience, élargit son champ de responsabilités pour inclure désormais l’expérience client, en plus de son rôle actuel en marketing et communication.
Selon un communiqué du groupe, ces nominations illustrent l’engagement de Sunlife à reconnaître et développer les talents internes. Sunlife strengthens its Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain teams
Sunlife has announced several internal promotions, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing and developing talent within the company, while consolidating its commercial presence in the hospitality sector. These appointments are intended to strengthen its Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain teams.
Joelle Edwards-Tonks has been Chief Commercial and Operations Officer since January 1, 2025. Joelle was key to the transformation of Sunlife, including the successful rebranding in 2022. According to CEO François Eynaud, “We are proud of Joelle’s achievements to date. His leadership has been a key contributor to our growth in revenue and the overall success of Sunlife. Through her new responsibilities, she will provide strategic direction to the sales and operational teams, with the objectives of further enriching the customer experience as well as operational excellence.”
In addition to overseeing the commercial functions including sales, marketing and revenue management, Joelle will now have expanded responsibilities covering hotel operations. Its strategic approach will aim to create optimal synergies between markets and hotel operations, in order to maximize performance and provide added value to Sunlife resort guests.
With 13 years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry, Rameswarsingh Jeenarain (Ramesh) is now the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. After leading World Leisure Holidays in South Africa and managing sales and the Central Reservations Office (CRO) in Mauritius, Ramesh has distinguished himself with remarkable results.
In his new role, Ramesh will oversee global sales and marketing, including digital initiatives while maintaining the leadership of World Leisure Holidays. His expertise and continued commitment will be key assets to continue Sunlife’s growth.
Cindy Leung is promoted to Chief Retail and Supply Chain Officer, whose leadership has been instrumental in the success of the retail and supply chain functions. It now extends its responsibilities to the management of spa operations, in line with Sunlife’s retail business development strategy. Cindy will be responsible for the deployment of the new GLOW by Sunlife concept, in collaboration with Reshma Dookheea, Cluster Spa Manager.
Kevin Ho-Pive takes over the sales office as Group Head of Sales while Prisca Nairn, Head of Marketing & Guest Experience, expands her responsibilities to include customer experience, in addition to his current role in marketing and communications.
